3M™ VHB™ Tape 4655 is a dark grey, 62 mil (1.6 mm) double-sided acrylic foam tape designed for general-purpose bonding with enhanced high-temperature resistance. It features a firm foam core coated on both sides with a durable acrylic adhesive, delivering strong, permanent bonds and long-term reliability.
Its viscoelastic properties provide excellent conformability and design flexibility, allowing it to bond effectively to a wide range of surfaces. This tape is particularly suitable for applications that require exposure to elevated temperatures, such as bonding components prior to paint oven processing. It performs exceptionally well on metal substrates including aluminum, galvanized steel, and stainless steel.
