The Metalite® R228 Stationary Sanding Belt features aluminum oxide abrasive and durable X-weight cotton backing for demanding metalworking applications. Designed for benchstand and backstand grinders, it delivers effective cutting performance for grinding, deburring, stock removal, blending, shaping, and polishing.

• Aluminum oxide abrasive: Durable, consistent cutting on steel, iron, and other general metals.
• 120 grit: Medium-fine grit for blending, deburring, weld cleanup, and pre-polish finishing.
