LUS24Z SIMPSON STRONG-TIE LUS Series Light-Capacity Joist Hanger is designed to connect nominal 2" x 4" lumber to wood headers, beams, or ledgers. Its patented double-shear nailing design transfers load through two points on each joist nail, providing an efficient connection while allowing fewer nails.

The hanger is made from 18-gauge steel and features a ZMAX galvanized coating for enhanced corrosion resistance in exterior and treated-wood applications. Speed prongs help temporarily position and secure the hanger during installation, while angled joist nailing makes installation easier where access is limited.
