Its re-engineered 3M™ Precision-Shaped Grain maintains sharp cutting points throughout the life of the disc, delivering fast material removal with less pressure. An integrated grinding aid helps minimize grinding temperatures on stainless steel and other heat-sensitive alloys while helping reduce metal discoloration and heat-related stress cracks. The laminated 2-ply polyester backing provides durability for demanding edgework, while the 3M™ Roloc™ Attachment System allows quick disc changes between grades or applications.
