CMT Orange Tools are globally recognized for delivering exceptional performance and reliability in professional woodworking. The CMT 219 Series Industrial Carbide Saw Blades are specifically engineered for sliding compound miter saws and radial arm saws, offering smooth, splinter-free cuts across a wide range of materials, including plywood, laminates, hardwoods, and softwoods.
Engineered for Clean, Controlled Cuts
The 219 Series features a laser-cut, heavy-gauge German steel plate (46–48 Rockwell hardness), designed to withstand rigorous use while delivering precise, vibration-free performance. Each blade is coated with PTFE non-stick coating, which reduces friction, minimizes pitch build-up, and extends blade life by keeping it cool during extended use.
To further enhance cutting accuracy, these blades include precision-engineered expansion slots filled with vibration-dampening material that helps reduce noise and maintain blade stability.
Specialized Tooth Geometry for Finish Cuts
The 219 Series blades are optimized with a unique high-tooth-count design that includes:
- Four alternating top bevel (ATB) teeth
- One triple-chip grind (TCG) tooth for added durability and strength
This configuration repeats in a five-tooth sequence and features a -5° negative hook angle, effectively limiting blade “climb” and “pull” during cuts—perfect for miter saws and radial arm saws. The thin kerf design ensures smooth, effortless cutting with reduced material waste and cleaner results on both the top and bottom surfaces.
Key Features:
- Laser-Cut German Steel Plate – Built for durability and stability
- Micro-Grain Carbide Teeth – Bonded with a tri-metal brazing (copper-silver-copper) for maximum longevity
- Non-Stick PTFE Coating – Reduces heat, pitch build-up, and wear
- Anti-Vibration Expansion Slots – Deliver quieter operation and smoother cuts
- Unique Tooth Geometry – Four ATB teeth with one TCG in a repeating pattern
- Negative Hook Angle (-5°) – Prevents blade climbing and ensures safer, cleaner cuts
- Thin Kerf Design – Enables precise cuts with minimal waste
